Scalp exfoliation is usually performed on wet, just-shampooed hair. You can place the product directly on the head, avoiding most of the hair shaft.

After you comb through and separate sections of your hair, you can apply the scrub with your fingertips. Use small circular motions and your fingertips to gently lift the dead skin cells off the scalp.

For this process, you can also use a brush designed for exfoliation. After 20 minutes, rinse your hair with warm water.

1. Prevents dry scalp

Having flakes on your scalp doesn’t always equal dandruff. It could be an indication that the scalp is very dry or irritated. Exfoliating the scalp allows for its natural oils to nourish and keep our scalp and hair healthy.

2. Keep your scalp and hair clean and fresh

It is quite helpful to remove the oil and dust on your head to keep your hair clean all day. If you want your hair to be shiny and clean, just do it!

3. Promote healthy hair growth by waking up the follicles.

A tight and dry scalp will not encourage hair growth. But if you stick to doing scalp exfoliation, your scalp might be revitalized again by waking up the follicles.
